Harvard Club of Sweden in cooperation with Moretime and Springfellow invites you to join us for an interactive discussion on the potential for business angels in Sweden and an international outlook on recent development in other parts of Europe.
Courses like “Building and Sustaining a Successful Enterprise”, “Founders’ dilemmas”, “Launching technology ventures” are leading the ranks as most popular with MBA students at HBS this year and many students’ career plans include buying a SME business to lead it to greatness. At the same time the role of business angels in Sweden is quite obscure and their importance is little known to the general public. The discussion will be led by an expert panel of Lennart Blomdahl of the Business Angel Academy (Sv. Affärsängelakademin), a network of business angels aiming to promote and professionalize investment in unlisted companies, Michel Elmoznino Laufer of Stockholm School of Economics, researcher on business angels at the department of management and organization and Luigi Amati, Vice President of Business Angels Europe, the European Confederation of Angel Investing, representing the European Business Angels' Federations and Trade associations in Europe. The event will take place on March 25, 2015 between 4 and 6 in the afternoon at Moretime, Drottninggatan 95 A, Stockholm.
